Circumnavigators Celebrate the Chinese New Year in New York

Circumnavigators and guests enjoyed a delicious Chinese banquet at the Peking Duck House in New York City on February 8^th. Past President Peter Mosse welcomed three new members from New York, Hilvania Adams, Lisa Hunt and Ellen Scordato. There were fun games and prizes throughout the evening while everyone enjoyed the Chinese Banquet.

On January 8, the Palm Beach Chapter held a luncheon at Chez L’Epicier. Deborah McCauley presented an exciting program on health care initiatives for Bengal tigers and other exotic animals in Nepal.

Retired astronaut and Palm Beach Circumnavigator Robert Crippen presented a tribute to the late astronaut John Young. Bob spoke at a Palm Beach Chapter luncheon and described his work with the late co-pilot on the first space shuttle flight.

Rev. Will Mason and wife Maria hosted a Christmas party at their home in Kirkland, WA. It was an exceptionally congenial gathering. Chapter President Charles Stotts stepped down as President after 14 years. Thank you Charles for your hard work and dedication! C. James Farrell was welcomed as the new Chapter President.

Saturday, December 17, 2017 – Annual Christmas Party of the Naples Chapter

The Annual Christmas Party of the Naples Chapter took place Sunday, December 17th, 2017, at the Naples Sailing and Yacht Club. It was a very formal and festive event, which was attended by eighty members and guests. They enjoyed the very special Christmas Dinner, and the entertainment provided by the Billy Dean and Dawn Ensemble.
