Happy Independence Day

to our American members at home and abroad!  To all our members in the Northern Hemisphere, we wish a happy and fun-filled summer!

The LOG coming soon…

This cover was second option. Photo by Albert Podell.

The summer issue of The LOG is at the printer and will be mailed shortly. If you do not receive it in early July, please contact Tracy at headquarters. We always appreciate feedback from our members after they read the issue, so please email comments to club@circumnavigators.org.

The new issue features the people of the world;  the cover to the right is not the actual cover. It finished second but it’s a great one nonetheless. Members will love the actual cover.

World’s largest passport?…

Eric Oborski (New York Metro) was recognized by the Smithsonian Institution for having perhaps the world’s largest passport.

With more than a dozen passports, Eric has amassed about 1400 pages, a record that probably will never be broken with the U.S. government now limiting the number of pages. Eric’s career in the travel business led to this amazing accomplishment.

The passport shown here, covers from 1997 to 2007, has 331 pages. You can read about Eric’s feat on the Smithsonian website.
